Vote Now for the next winner of the Euro-Med Award for Dialogue

The Anna Lindh Foundation has now launched the online voting for the Winner of the Fifth Edition of the Euro-Med Award for Dialogue between Cultures.

This annual award, organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation and Fondazione Mediterraneo, recognises the achievements of individuals and organizations that have been at the forefront of promoting Dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Intercultural Dialogue for Ecological Sustainabilityis the theme for the 2010 Edition, which has been identified in the framework of the declaration of 2010 as the ‘International Year of Biodiversity’, by the United Nations.

Now the 3000 member organizations of the Foundation’s National networks have the opportunity to make they voice heard and choose one of the five following Runners-up to become the 2010 ambassador for Ecological Sustainability:

  1. Friends of the Earth Middle East (Jordan/Palestine/Israel)
  2. Nikos Chrysogelos (Greek Activist)
  3. Regional Environmental Center (Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey)
  4. The Islamic Culture Foundation (Spain)
  5. The Mediterranean NGO Federation (Greece)

All our National Network members in the 43 Euro-Med countries are invited to participate in this electoral process by submitting their vote online. Each member can submit only one vote.

The candidate who gets the majority of votes by the networks will receive the Award for 2010.

The deadline for voting is the 5th of July 2010.
